I Love You, Man

I am like the ghostly figure beside the poster

Better... But now u can't see the poster!

I was selected by OMY to be at a movie preview of “I Love You, Man”. Cool isn’t it? I bought my man along to catch it. He totally enjoyed it and I hope it helped to lower that stress level of his.

Anyway I am here to write a review of the movie.

.

It will be so much easier if the movie is some B grade popcorn movie. I will just simply write “It suck!”. Hahaha. If only it's that easy...

.

I am pretty worried at first it would turned out to be another “Epic Movie”. But it’s so much funnier than I expected.

.

It’s much closer to the heart even though it’s a comedy.

I like the way the movie presented the story: Friendship is like any other relationships. From knowing each other, getting to know better, liking each other, going out on “date” (In male’s vocabulary I believed it called Hang out) then the first fight, “break-up” & “make-up”. Even the emotions in the movie, you will find them strangely familiar. Rudd did a great job in playing this role who is struggling to play it cool when he realized he might found “The One”. Jason Segel played the chosen one of Rubb’s. I honestly though he played some crook who will cheat and run. No lah. He turned out to be such a great pal! Although he can get a little weird….

.

Storyline: Peter Klaven who is a kind, understanding, supportive ladyman. Perfect right! However he does had this small little issue. He has no closed male friend/s. It’s not a concern to him till he proposed to his 8 months girlfriend, Zooey. Nobody is there to be his best man.

Now he’s on a mission to find some platonic man-love & the new best friend.

Things aren’t going well for him at first till he met Sydney Fife (A guy lah).

.

Wanna know the rest of the story? Go catch "I Love You, Man" opening 18th June.
