Fashion sense between Venus & Mars

FeifeiZhu got this really cute dress from "ling" (Ling as in darling).
She's lucky to get something really nice and it suits her

Which get me thinking.... How many of you (girls only, please) received garments (tops/dress etc... not Lingerie) from our boyfriends/husbands and think it's the ugliest thing u had ever seen in your life even your ah ma wouldn't wear it?

The size is way to small and u can only zip half to your butt. The colour makes your skin looks yellow or your mum have the same design of dress when she's in her 20s?

How many of you have to pretend you like it without looking disgusted and not hurting his feeling cause he looks all excited & oh-so-proud of himself thinking he know this is actually what you like?

The meaning of being in style to Venus & Mars is totally different.

Venus (most Venus)
Example 1: Oh!!! I saw this dress in the Vivi magazine and it's in the "IN" colour.
Example 2: This fits my body shape and flatter my "asset"

Mars (most Mars)
Example 1: Oh that's her favourite colour. I shall buy it to surprise her! (without looking at the design or size)
Example 2: What a nice dress. I shall buy it to surprise her! (without thinking if it will look good on her)

I am not trying to be a bitch picking on the gifts that my boyfriend picks for me. There’s a lot of other points we girls/woman look out for when it comes to buying a top/dress.

Ben knowing me about my dressing and how picky I can be at times, never bought me any. Good for him coz if I dun like it, I wouldn’t wear it.

Hot Yoga

What hot yoga is all about?

Basically they heat up the room to a good 40 degree and you do yoga inside the room lah. The heat helps to soften the muscles so you wouldn't crack or over-stretch your muscles like Ah Ma or Ah Peh. Other than that, the heat helps you to detox the waste in your body. So clearer glowing skin is really not that hard to achieve.

The drinking sessions I had been going even since I started working here. I need some SERIOUS detox.

Drinking Friday

YW: No.. No.. *shaking his head* Next week will be different. Next week we have to work harder and then leave at 4.30pm. Today we will make it 4pm

Me: …….. I seriously dun mind it at all. =)

By4.15pm/4.30pm, we will be by Singapore River drinking our ice cold beer.

Money spend vs. Money save

The right thing to do will be saving, of course. But seriously how many of you do it?? Who many of you can tell me you can not work for 6months and not worry about cash flow? Oh well…. I know I can’t. As my income increased, the needs in life increased as well.

3 years ago:
Pay bills, pay school fee, daily expense

To be honest, there’s no much left after all that… I am living on bread and water. Maybe not so poor thing but u get the idea.

Now:
Traveling, getting a membership at Hot Yoga, Get myself insured from head to toe, buy that Tod’s or maybe the Bottega Veneta bag.

See that differences! I am not getting 3 times more than what I am earning 3 years ago but my expense now has increase by 3 times.

Save... Save… Save… It’s the right thing to do.

The Rocks Cafe

Thanks to Cindy! I got the taste of some amazingly yummy dessert at this cafe.
I highly recommand this place although it's quite wu-lu
