Moscow the Bitter Old Lady

“Heat and humidity are definitely big risk factors and, taking into account that the games will be staged in the summer, Moscow looks a more preferable choice than Singapore,” New York-based pediatric expert, Ljiljana Dimitrijevic, said:

Singapore is not an oven. We will not toast the young athletes alive. Beside there’s an invention known as Air-condition. Heard of that?

“Beijing and Singapore are in Asia. To be more precise, they’re both located in South-East Asia. Still, people don’t question Singapore’s right to host the Youth Olympics just two years after Beijing.” Moscow city mayor Yuri Luzhkov, said

Oh come on! China and Singapore are two DIFFERENT COUNTRIES which is far apart under different “management”. Singapore stands the same amount of chances to bid and hold the Youth Olympics as everywhere else. He really needs to get a strong fact than this to make an argument. By the way, Bangkok is in the Top 5 also. Didn’t see him making noise.

We might not have such a big budget like Moscow (Singapore has $75.5 million while Moscow has 180 million).
But hey! Small is Good
Good Job, Singapore! This is our chance to make history once again.
