It’s hard to miss it unless you are blind or looking at the floor all the time.
Perfect little place for slipping tea, smelling the aroma of the freshly home-made breads rising in the oven and watching the morning crowd.
I made this part up cause I am there at 8pm.
But I figure it will be something like that if I come in the morning.
Anyway back to my late night visit to Food for Thought.
This is what greeted me when I first step in.
Chiffon cakes, cinnamon rolls and even cute little ginger man (I took this pic off the net)
When I moved on to the cakes session, my inner voice is asking myself why the hell do I eat so much for dinner.
Chocolate cake looks chocolaty. Cheese cake looks Cheezy. Cupcake looks so pretty…
Too bad there’re not much choices left for cupcakes
In the end, we order 2 cups of Mocha ($3.20 each), 2 tiny bite-size cheesy Cheesecakes ($1 each) and a Vanilla Cupcake ($3 each).
I am not impressed by the cheesecake at all maybe coz it’s way too small to taste anything.
No doubt, it’s pretty with the strawberry heart in the middle but that’s as far as it gets.
The cupcake is really special. After the first bite, the scent of rose lingered in my mouth.
Yes you read it right. ROSE!!! How romantics lor.
What makes a good cup of Mocha?
1) Not too much chocolate, it will turn into Hot chocolate (Might as well have milo)
2) Not too much coffee, it will turn into Kopi-O (you can have that at coffee shop)
3) Not too much milk, it will turn into Chocolate Milk (Go NTUC buy lah)
The mocha here is one of the few that gets it right. Niceeeeee…. =)
Overall: 8/10. Friendly staffs and I love the deco which is a plus plus for me.
