Monday night

Just got back at 8.45pm.

it's barely 3 hrs ago that I am feeling contended about my life in ben's arms. Seriously not asking/wanting anything more.

3 hrs+ later sitting in front of my computer, I am actually feeling a little lost.

Then it hit me.... 3 hrs ago, I totally forgot I am jobless.

For no reason, I was pissed!

Not sure about myself.... or what!?

Dear God,

Show me a sign!

People are saying Singaporeans are hopeless when it comes to fashion.

They can hardly tell the different between each girl on orchard road coz they have the same hair style, same spag top (maybe different colour) & the same kind of sandals!

It's time we do something about it.

I had one of the worse shock in my life during dinner.

The dinner started out well.

But that's it.... Things didn't went so well after that...

1st Shock
Half way through dinner, Jacelynn "discovered" a caterpillar crawling at the railing right beside us.
That's one hairy caterpillar!

Super Gross...
Brave Jacelynn decided to blow it off the railing.

2nd Shock
Something fall from the sky!
Nope. It's not gold.

It's a fucking rat

It landed on the railing with its tail swinging from side to side.
It's like it's saying "TaaaDaaa!" for the perfect landing.

3rd Shock
It's nothing unusual.
It's a lizard.

But seriously after all that drama, a slight movement at the bushes will have frighten me.

I don't think I will ever return.
The food isn't that great to make me wanna take the risk again.

But after I signed the appointment letter, I am having 2nd thoughts.

No. It's not fear that I wouldn't do well. (I am sure I will)
Nor not getting use to it. (It's just a matter of time)

It's the nature of the job.
You see....

I need to attend launches and parties pretty often (Once again, pretty cool huh!)

Often enough to exceed my comfortable level.

Sorry. It didn't work that way.
It's part of the job to know the people there.

Me being my age and knowing what I want or aleast what I try to avoid in a job.
This is the job that will get me smiling the whole damn day.... If I am still 21.

Not when I am 27 and so over clubbing...
by 10pm, all I want to do is lay on my bed and play with my cat (if I have one)

Summer feel dresses

I am eyeing on....

I expected better...

Baby and I went Prego last friday.

This is my 1st... Honestly I didn't know why it never occure to me to try this place b4.

Even though I have heard many good reviews.

Till baby got his "Feed at Raffles" card.

1-for-1 for all main course.

That's quite a bargain.

The service was excellent for a casual dining place.

They kept asking if "everything is ok" or "do we need anything"

I was pretty pleasure with the whole experience.

I was even happier when I saw the loaf of home-made bread.

1-for-1 and you get a FREE loaf of bread too!

Not bad right!

We were flipping the meun spolited with choices...

After a long while, we settled for a pumpkin with Green Apple Soup, Potatoes dumplings with crab meat and peas & penne with cod fish.
We shared the soup and the waiter is nice enough to separate it into 2 bowls. It's quite nice... very refreshing due to the bits of green apple in the soup.

but the pasta... =(

My dumplings for some reason reminded me of Chinese cooking... It's not bad but not that nice either. The fact that it's a little too oily makes it a little "too much to handle" after 3 dumplings (there's a total of 12 I think).

Baby seem ok with the penne with cod fish but I find is too "fishy" The tomatoes sauce is too watery with too much fish stock in it. In whole, I think it taste kind of funny.

We spend $41 in total after the discount of 1-for-1.

It's pretty cheap for a place like Prego.
But the foods make me think twice about coming back.

Maybe I should try the "meaty" main course the next time.
According to baby, the cod fish is really nice.

But hey, isn't this a Italian's restaurant?
It is suppose to be famous for their pasta right!!??

For obvious reason why I catch this movie.

Takeshi being 32 this year looks better than ever.

Let's just face it.... If you are a non-celebrity at 32, you will never look as good.

Either you are putting on weight or balding or looking tired and life is draining out of you.

Back to the movie....

Takeshi play Death aka the Rain Man. Every time he's on a "mission", it will rain.

In summary, the message from the movie is that every move is going to affect someone somehow. And if you dun know that person, never judge someone just basic on the 1st impression coz chances are you really dun know that person. The hair salon "Ah Ma" is not a fish. She is staying away coz she cared too much...

When you feel that everything can go wrong went wrong... and life has never seem so dark and lonely.
